Hotkey+Start does not exit game
I am using a GRS Flight yoke. I have tried EVERYTHING and I'm to the point of ripping my hair out. The hotkey, which I mapped to SELECT, plus the start button WILL NOT EXIT THE GAME!!!!!!
I tried a fresh install. I tried mapping other buttons as the start and select buttons. NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Any ideas?

Hello,
Unfortunately we do not support these devices yet, flight sticks and yokes are planned for the future...
For information, can you share the es_input.cfg file located in your retrobat\emulationstation\.emulationstation ? (Would like to see what this device looks like when setup in RetroBat.

Re: Hotkey+Start does not exit game
I'll have to try again with the GRS Flight yoke, but the problem seems to be RetroBat+MAME64.
As a sanity check I disconnected the yoke, connected a "normal" gamepad and it still does not work.......on a fresh install????????????
So I reconnected the gamepad to my other system and yes I can exit with the hotkey+start.......unless I switch the emulator to MAME64 and then whammy!!!! I cannot exit even with the gamepad.
It used to work. What happened?

Re: Hotkey+Start does not exit game
It seems to be a V6 problem. I have a system running V5, MAME64, and its exiting via the hotkeys just fine.
Looks like I can use MAME64 OR V6, but not both.

Re: Hotkey+Start does not exit game
Locate your retrobat\emulationstation\.emulationstation\es_padtokey.cfg file.
Open with notebook and replace the mame part with:
<input name="hotkey start" key="(%{CLOSE})"/>
